Microrom was founded in April 2005 to become the Low Cost Country manufacturing plant of ABF Elettronica, an Italian company leading in the engineering and manufacturing of filters and diplexers for the main Telecom Market Customers .
Microrom is situated in Oradea, in the north-western part of Romania, 2 km from the Hungarian border. We have a building of 1300 m2 with two floors and an external area of 1000 m2. The building has been restructured completely according to the European Normatives. Our purpose is to perform assemblages and electronic testing guaranteeing professionalism and seriousness (e.g. cables, connectors, wiring, household appliances or other).
Microrom is today specialised in the manufacturing of filters, diplexers and couplers from 7 GHz to 38 GHz upon Customer’s specifications.
The Customer can either choose two different approach versus Microrom:
Ø Microrom is a subcontractor in charge of the production upon Customer specification and of the supervision of the complete manufacturing process being the unique interface to the Customer. In this case Microrom purchases the BoM material in conformity to the Customer specification, deals with the Suppliers of the Romania Industrial Pole and manufactures the final product to be delivered to the Customer
Ø Microrom is a working hours supplier in charge of the assembly, tuning and testing processes upon Customer specification
